Secondary Maths Tuition
Did you know pupils lack confidence when transitioning from primary to secondary education?
What is the aim of secondary school education?
Let Elite Maths Tuition help support your child in this important phase of their educational journey.
Key Stage 3
At key stage 3 pupils should build on their foundations from key stage 2 and connections across mathematical ideas to develop fluency, mathematical reasoning and competence in solving increasingly sophisticated problems.
Key Stage 4
Key stage 4 then develops into a deeper understanding of mathematics. GCSE maths now includes these functional maths questions which rely on problem-solving skills and require further exploration into mathematics.
The challenges
Even though the national curriculum is providing such guidelines, many schools are failing to address the problems pupils are facing in enhancing their mathematical ability, application, confidence and engagement.
What can we do to help?
Elite Maths Tuition has been successful in making 3 to 4 levels of progress for pupils at GCSE. This includes pupils with learning difficulties, English as an additional language and other special needs.
Elite Maths Tuition wants to help your child whether they are struggling, have a lack of confidence, require improvements in grades or want great GCSE results.
