What are SATs and 11+?

SATs (Standard Assessment Tests)

SATs is also referred to as National Curriculum Tests. These tests are used to show how each child is progressing compared with other children. They are taken at the end of School Years 2 & 6.

11+ Examinations

11+ are exams taken by pupils in Year 6 who want to be considered for a grammar school education and can involve any or all of four separate disciplines: English, maths, verbal reasoning and non-verbal reasoning.
